Call for speakers

The call for speakers is now closed.
Thank you for your numerous talk proposals!

Let’s go! Of course, the website is not quite ready but it’s time to search for brilliant speakers for the impossible to miss French WordPress event: WordCamp Paris 2014!
« Wait, you said French? But this call is in English?! »
Yes. Following remarks during the last WordCamp Paris, we’ve decided to include English-speaking conferences, as many foreigners are interested in sharing their passion and knowledge even though they don’t speak French. Don’t worry, we’ll warmly welcome you 🙂
However, please be advised that we probably won’t be able to pay for airfare. So when submitting, please specify where you are located and if you can pay for your travel.
WordCamp Paris will be held
on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th of January, 2014
in Paris, France.
Use the form below to submit conference and workshop proposals. You may even submit more than one! It’s all about bringing value to the community, so think carefully of your audience. Conference length is 50 minutes (including a set of 5 to 10 minutes for Q&A).
We’re looking for expertise on a specific subject (related to WordPress or useful for WordPress people), passion about WordPress and the will to give back to the community.
Call for speakers will be closed on the 2nd of December at midnight. Then the WordCamp Paris staff will make the final selection of conferences from among all those proposed. We’ll publish the program in the following days. Everyone who submits a subject will be informed.
So, ready to be a speaker?
Have any questions? Use comments, we’ll answer you.

Also, please be advised that you are supposed to abide to the WordCamp requirements: http://plan.wordcamp.org/become-an-organizer/representing-wordpress/
